Editorial policy

Version 1.0 · Effective 3 November 2026 · YK Global FZC LLC

This policy covers everything we publish: the pages on this site, articles, guides, comparisons, social posts and newsletters. It exists because we publish technical and regulatory material that people make decisions on, and you are entitled to know how it was produced and who is answerable for it.

1. A named person is accountable for every published item

Nothing is published automatically. Every item has a named human editor who is accountable for its accuracy, originality, judgement, tone, cultural fit and the decision to publish it. Tooling can draft, check, translate and schedule; it cannot approve. See our AI-assisted content policy for what the tooling does and does not do.

2. Approval is bound to an exact version

Approvals are recorded against the content hash of the exact text reviewed. An approval that floated free of a version would approve whatever the draft later became, which is how an unreviewed sentence reaches a reader under someone’s name. If the text changes after approval, the approval no longer applies and the item returns for review.

Reviews are recorded as one of four decisions - approve, revise, reject, or request a full review - and are idempotent, so a duplicated or retried submission records one decision rather than two.

3. Approval requires a quality score of at least 90 of 100

The score covers technical accuracy, evidence and citation, originality, clarity and reading level, tone, terminology consistency, accessibility and metadata. An item scoring below the threshold cannot be approved for publication regardless of who reviews it.

4. We do not publish a capability claim we have not assessed

Every article is tied to a specific capability, and our record of what we can evidence is kept separately from the article that claims it. An article cannot publish asserting that we do something currently when that capability has not been assessed - this is enforced by an automated check, not by memory, and it currently holds a substantial part of our draft library back from publication.

Where a capability is delivered with a partner, or is at research stage, the content says so rather than implying otherwise.

5. Drafts are not published by default

Our unpublished draft library is excluded from search indexing and is not linked from this site. Volume is not a publication plan: an article is published when it has been reviewed and the claim behind it is evidenced, not when it has been written.

6. Translation

This site is available in eight languages. Where a page carries source text that has not yet been reviewed by a speaker of that language, the page says so in the reader’s language and is excluded from search indexing until a reviewer has been through it. We would rather show you labelled English than an unreviewed machine translation of a technical claim.

7. Evidence and sources

Factual claims about third-party products, regulations or market conditions carry a source. Where we state a figure we say where it comes from and when it was accurate. Where we are describing our own opinion or approach, we say that instead of dressing it as a finding.

8. Case studies and client references

We publish a case study only with the client’s written permission, and structured as problem, approach and outcome with results we can substantiate. We do not publish unattributed success stories, invented metrics or testimonials. At the time of writing we have no published case studies, which our work page says plainly.

9. Commercial relationships do not change technical advice

We do not accept payment to recommend a product. Where we have a partnership, reseller relationship or other commercial interest in something we write about, we disclose it in the item itself. No sponsorship, affiliate arrangement or advertising relationship is permitted to alter a technical recommendation.

10. Corrections

Our corrections policy describes how to report an error and what we do about it. Corrections are recorded as new versions with the change history retained, so the record of what was published and when is not overwritten.
